Honoring a WWII Army Veteran
Built as a gift for a WWII Battle of the Bulge veteran; he is still driving his golf cart around and sharing the wisdom of his amazing life at 100 years young!
This extra small (10" x 20") flag was made from select grade lumber. The 50 stars were hand carved into the wood. The union and red stripes were colored with a water-based stain. The front and back of the flag have torch burned accents. Each flag is also branded and signed.
Honoring a WWII Navy Veteran
Built for my grandfather, a WWII Navy veteran. He served in the Pacific Theater Campaigns on a Fletcher Class Destroyer. At 97 years young, he can still put me in my place.
This extra small (10" x 20") flag was made from hardwood (Bloodwood, Maple & Wenge). The Navy emblem is brushed vinyl. The union is wenge, the stripes maple and bloodwood. The flag is coated with a marine grade lacquer.
